Glaslyn, Saskatchewan

Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Glaslyn, SK. celebrated its 80^th Anniversary in July of 2012. Their big anniversary event was their Khram and it was huge. According to Eva and Nick Dmytryshyn, large numbers of people came all the way from Saskatoon. People whose families had been parishioners of this church long age were also in attendance. The celebration included a catered meal at the community hall and a performance by the Lastiwka Choir from Saskatoon. The membership of the Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Glaslyn has been declining as people move away.  Currently, the membership is only 17. At the anniversary Khram, however, there were around 200 people in attendance.
