Sanctuary Map

Below is a link to a map of the Canadian Prairies showing the areas visited by the Sanctuary Project Team from the University of Alberta.

If you CLICK ON AN AREA on the map you will go to a page with a small map which shows the approximate location of places visited. Many are in places which are not named on any map!

If we have additional information on a particular place on the website that place will be highlighted in BLUE and you can CLICK ON THAT PLACE to see the information (text, pictures, sound recordings).

If there are places shown for which we have no information listed you can email Natalie Kononenko (nataliek@ualberta.ca) and we will try to add the information you want.
